APPROVAL OF THE SINGSPIRATION GRANT PROPOSAL TO WELLER ARTS FOR THE NORTH PORT HIGH SCHOOL CHORAL MUSIC DEPARTMENT
Description
COMPETITIVE: Grant funds of $4,190.30 will allow the North Port High School Choral Music department to implement the new State Music Standards, exp. MU912C12, MU912C11. Activities will include World Premiere of composer Gwynneth Walker piece, 2 concerts and rehearsal for the community.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Singspiration grant proposal.
